Job Description:

A vacancy currently exists for a Health, Safety, Environment and Training Advisor to be based in the Bowen Basin Region.
Golding Contractors Pty Ltd provides mining operations and civil infrastructure project services to clients throughout Australia.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain sound business relationships, lead by example, and implement innovative safety systems within a mining environment.

The roster for this role will operate on 5/2. The aptitude to communicate effectively is essential.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of the Project Team and will have as a minimum:

Tertiary qualifications or substantial management experience
An ability to understand and apply relevant legislation
Demonstrated capacity to influence all levels of a project
The successful applicant must also be able to demonstrate the following:
An understanding or the ability to understand risk in a mining environment
The ability to work effectively as part of a management team; and
The ability to mentor individuals in effective leadership
The successful candidate will be provided with a challenging work environment with opportunities for personal development.
