Due to growth and project demands, a junior-mid level GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Specialist with background in Geology/mining/exploration is needed to join their warm, friendly and professional team.
 
Your key responsibilities include:
·         Develop, create and update geological maps and plans using MapInfo/Discover
·         Data analysis, management and interpretation
·         Update and maintain existing GIS database
·         Conduct presentations and reporting of geological data to internal and external stakeholders
 
As the successful candidate, you will have:
·         3 years GIS experience  with good sound undersatnding of the Geology/Mining industry; Experience in Mining or Exploration fields is highly advantageous
·         Must have strong technical skills with MapInfo/Discover. Knowledge of acQuire is an advantage but is not mandatory
·         Strong communication skills and able to conduct presentations at C level
·         High level of initiative and able to work minimal supervision
·         Flexibility for occasional travel within Australia as and when required
