This global diversified and well branded Mining group working in seven major international commodity markets is looking for an experience plant metallurgist for this on-going operation in [Location] .
 
The organisation is one of the top most diversified Metals & Mining organisations in the world who continue to grow and create value over the long term, forming mutually beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders.
 
Working in regional Queensland, the responsibilities and selection criteria are as follows:
 
Responsibility:
·         Monitoring and control of metallurgical operations to ensure budget targets are achieved.
·         Promoted high standards on Health & Safety
·         Full compliance of companys site standards, PASS and safety plans
·         Provide Technical support to the operations, maintenance, metallurgist and of management teams
·         Initiate and progress plant capital improvement projects aimed at increasing metal production
 
Requirements:
·         Degree qualified in metallurgical/minerals processing or chemical engineering
·         Minimum 2 years experience within minerals processing operations
·         Committed to Health & Safety.
·         Project experience necessary working autonomously and within a team environment
·         Good time management and organisational skills and able to work independently
