Bilingual Materials Procurement Officer

[Employer] has won the lead construction contract for [Mine] , a world class, large-scale magnetite iron ore project located [Location].
 
The project involves the construction of significant infrastructure including a magnetite concentrator, pellet plant, port facilities, a combined cycle power station, and a large desalination plant.
 
[Employer] is responsible for the design, construction, and installation and testing of major infrastructure and fabrication of some equipment.  [Employer] is a global construction company with an extensive track record in developing major projects.
 
[Employer] has recently established a new office [Location] and provides opportunities for those seeking to advance their careers in a new venture being undertaken by a significant international company.
 
[Employer] is currently seeking an experienced Materials Procurement Officer to join our team based [Location] . This is a full time permanent position with MCC mining.
 
Core Accountabilities:
·         Expedite and monitor on contracts, and procurement status with relevant suppliers to ensure timely supply
·         Manage purchase order and purchasing contracts
·         Report on daily payment progress and monitor payment applications.
 
Experience and technical skills:
·         Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential
·         University degree in Engineering or other relevant disciplines or equivalent (minimum)
·         2 years experience in material procurement (minimum)
·         Previous experience working on EPCM projects
