Senior Civil Project Engineer

As more and more projects are kicking off around the country, the volume of vacancies we are receiving is increasing dramatically. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer from a Civil background to join an established team in a [Location] project office.
 
The project has been awarded, and the 'manning up' has begun. You will play an important role within the project team, liaising with engineers, designers and line managers to deliver a sizeable rail project.
 
The duration of this project is roughly 12 months, as the client completes a Bankable Feasibility Study for a high profile job. Assuming this study is successful, there is the likelihood that further work will be available.
 
In order to be considered suitable for this job, you will need to be a qualified Civil Engineer ideally from a Mining and Resources background. Rail experience would be highly regarded, however not necessarily mandatory. Other civil project experience (even commercial metro work) will also be viewed favourably. A strong understanding of civil works including bulk earthworks, drainage, waste water, rail etc would be valuable.
 
As a Senior Project Engineer you will at times visit site, however this is an office based role. With roughly 6+ years experience, an EPCM background and an ability to understand design, this is a long term opportunity for the right candidate. You will report to the Project Manager and Operations Manager, with considerable autonomy while supporting younger members of the team.
 
Applicants who are prepared to relocate at their own expense to [Location] will be considered, however VISA Sponsorship is not on offer. A contract rate will be negotiated with a suitable Senior Project Engineer (Civil).
