Safety & Training Advisor

UGM Australia is a highly successful contracting organisation in the supply of specialised mining services and production support to NSW and QLD coal mining industry.
 
UGM Australia currently has a vacancy for a Safety & Training Advisor, in the Wollongong region: Our corporate values of Safety, Quality, Professionalism and Performance are not just slogans to us.
 
Our consistent demonstration of these values has resulted in UGM now opening a new office in Wollongong to complement our existing operations in the Hunter.
 
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
·         Cert IV in workplace Training & Assessing
·         Minimum 10 Years Underground black coal experience
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Strong ability to mentor our young workforce
·         A willingness to be flexible with work hours and movement from site to site on a daily basis
·         A positive attitude to safety
·         Willingness to work within the UGM team and systems of work.
