Our client is a reputable global engineering organisation who are reaping rewards due to enduring project success, development and maintenance of client relations and unprecedented growth within their Minerals division. Due to phenomenal growth coupled with ongoing and new project commitments our clients now require a Estimating Lead to join the Perth office of this upwardly mobile, multi dimensional organisation.
 
As the successful applicant for this hands-on role you will be responsible for:
·         Management of all estimating functions across projects within the Minerals & Industry division;
·         Assisting the Project Manager - provide cost plan information relating to value engineering and risk management issues;
·         Assisting the Procurement Manager providing pricing schedules for suppliers and sub contractors;
·         Providing expertise for ongoing personnel requirements;
·         Developing and maintaining Client relations through on-going and;
·         Preparation of project cost estimates, including estimates for options/alternatives and estimates for variation/claim checking as required. 
 
Your strong communication skills, time management and demonstrated appreciation of costs associated with mining projects will ensure you are the perfect candidate for this excellent opportunity.
 
As the suitable candidate you will have significant previous experience in a similar role within an EPCM or Engineering Consultancy environment within the Minerals/Mining or Heavy Industry sectors. It is preferred, but not essential that you have an Engineering qualification and quantity surveying experience will also be highly regarded.
