Our client is Western Australia's leading coal producer, mainly providing energy for the State's major electricity network. It operates a successful mine producing 3-4 million tonnes of coal a year and endowed with reserves to last more than 100 years.
 
Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, you will be preparing contract documentation, managing tender process if required, managing contract performance to ensure compliance with mine and legislative requirements, develop a positive and productive working relationship with contractors, oversee and manage the day to day activities of the contractor operations, ensure contractors adhere to safe work practices and undertake risk assessment where required, and review contract performance at contract completion.
 
If you have previous experience with direct management of contracts and contractors, have a background in operations with relevant field experience, combined with excellent computer skills, strong interpersonal skills and good relationship building skills, then we would like to hear from you.
