Together with this established and progressive mining company that has multiple projects across open pit and exploration targets throughout the world, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drill Operator Trainer to ensure high standards of training and safety for the sites operators across their drilling fleet.  In this crucial position you will play an important role in carrying out the training and development of the sites drill operators and be able to implement training plans and packages.
 
This is an exceptional career opportunity to take on a challenging role which will see you utilize your extensive experience from Australian and overseas projects to contribute to the overall achievements of this large scale open pit project.
 
The position will be focused on the delivery of training to operators across the sites drill fleet consisting of DK45s drill rigs.  You will be an instrumental part of the training team providing specialised operator training to the national workforce.  You will also be required to update and develop training documentation, carry out assessments and ensure safety to meet the sites operational objectives.
 
It is expected that you will have a minimum of five years mining experience of which a minimum of two have been in a training related role coupled with relevant expatriate experience ideally from similar roles in Africa.  You will hold current certificate IV in assessment and workplace training, and you will also be required to have trained both hands on in the field and ideally in a classroom environment.
