In line with Fortescue's culture of setting stretch targets, we continually look for innovative ways to improve industry accepted environmental management of mineral exploration, construction, mining, rail transportation and port operations.
 
Environment Superintendent
(FIFO 8/6 ex Perth)
Key to develop, implement and maintain the environmental performance of the Christmas Creek and Cloudbreak sites are:
·         Tertiary Qualification in Environmental Science or related discipline
·         5 years experience in a similar role
·         Experience with the environmental approvals processes in Government
·         Knowledge and understanding of relevant environmental legislation to ensure the ongoing legal compliance of all of FMG's Chichester operations
·         Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, client representatives and the local environment community groups
·         Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor site team
