We have seen a significant increase in the demand for technical staff across all of our WA clients and we have another opportunity within a highly profitable mining group. The company, an ASX listed producer, provides an excellent camp & facilities and has developed a dedicated career-planning programme aimed at assisting you to meet your medium-long term career aspirations.
 
The Mine Surveyor (Surface) is a new opportunity at one of the company's major sites. The position will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor and will work as part of a medium sized mine surveying team. You will take responsibility for a variety of surface activities, including daily set-outs & pick-ups, monitoring production volumes, daily/monthly reporting and general assistance for a range of open-pit functions.
 
The position will benefit from an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor who will provide extensive training with both operational duties and the various technologies available. To take advantage of this outstanding opportunity it is essential that you offer the following:
·         Mine Surveying Certification/Qualifications
·         Previous experience within a surface mine
·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·         Strong computer literacy (ideally Surpac)
·         Ability to work autonomously as required
