Group IT Superintendent

Our client is a highly regarded and successful Australian mining company with an operating mine and an exciting suite of exploration projects with near term development prospects within mainland Asia. Additionally, they are actively focused on acquisitions and mergers to further enhance their growth and development profile as they seek to develop from a mid-cap to a major Australian mining company.
 
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group IT Superintendent will be responsible for managing the IT strategy, systems, policies and procedures across all operations and the corporate office.
 
To be considered for this role you will possess:
·         A Bachelor degree in IT and have gained 7 years experience within a major corporation, ideally one related to the mining industry
·         Management of online content and IT infrastructure
·         Project Management and implementations
·         The ability to build both internal and external business relationships
 
Key technology experience across:
·         Windows Server 2003 and XP, Linux and Unix
·         Networking and infrastructure design, install/troubleshooting Cisco, LAN/WAN, wireless and VoIP, fibric optic, metro Ethernet, satellite technologies, servers, SAN, ups, Datacentre
·         Relational Database (MS SQL & Oracle) and SharePoint MOSS 2007
