R/C Drill Operator Trainer

[Employer] offers drill operator training and assessment services to mining companies throughout the Southern hemisphere.

We require a Trainer with extensive R/C Drilling operations and maintenance experience (minimum of ten years experience). You will ideally have specific experience with the operation of Cubex surface drill rigs and be conversant with R/C in pit grade control requirements.

The initial position is for a contract in Papua New Guinea over a period not less than fifteen weeks on a 3 week on 2 week off roster. This position requires excellent time management skills to raise the current work performance to meet existing company targets whilst training and mentoring existing and new contractor operators.

Ideally your qualifications will include:
· Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
· Certificate IV Drilling

Ongoing opportunities for contractual work is available both within Australia and overseas dependent on skills, qualifications and performance.
