Underground Mine Surveyor

An exceptional opportunity exists within our Clients Survey Department for a highly motivated and team oriented individual looking for an autonomous, challenging and exciting role.  You will need to have previous underground experience, be a self-starter, value workplace safety above all else, and be able to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. 
 
Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will work closely with the Underground Surveying and Mine Management teams.  You will be fully involved in all mine site survey activities:- installation of survey controls and development of mine headings, measurement and calculation of mine volumes and surface stocks, databases and plans in accordance with Company standards and legislative requirements.
 
To be considered you must have the following:
·         Minimum 2 years practical experience with survey equipment and mine software
·         Hold a WA Grade 1 Authorised Surveyors Certificate, or the ability to gain in the future
·         Hold Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Surveying
 
The successful applicant will require excellent communication skills, an emphasis on teamwork, good organisational and time management skills and have a good level of fitness. 
 
A variety of roster options are available including FIFO from [Location] , DIDO or residential on either a 9/5 or 5/2 roster.
