Geological Database Administrator

·         Seeking an experienced Geological Database Administrator

[Employer] is a global data management company, providing consultancy and services to the mining and exploration industry. Our Fremantle based team manages data for companies ranging from multi-nationals through to junior exploration companies. We are currently seeking an experienced Geological Database Administrator to come and join our close knit team in a professional yet friendly working environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
·         Compilation and administration of geological and mining resource data
·         Design and implementation of Access and SQL Server databases and interfaces
·         Implementation and support for Maxwell software products
·         Client communication and support

Ideally you will have:
·         Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Geology or relevant industry experience
·         Minimum of 5 years experience in mining/or exploration
·         3 years previous experience with geological databases, preferably with DataShed but not essential
·         Advanced Access and/or SQL skills
·         A high level of motivation and initiative
·         Well developed interpersonal skills
·         A high level of computer literacy
