An exciting opportunity currently exists for an exceptional OHS Advisor to provide occupational health and safety support to Sunrise Dam Management. You shall be responsible for the various facets of mine site OH&S including safety leadership, risk management, incident and injury investigations, contractor safety management and reporting.
 
Possessing a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Occupational Health & Safety and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the mining industry, you will have excellent organisational, planning and communication skills. You will promote positive safety behaviours and be a catalyst for change with a diplomatic approach, acting as a resource for management and employees alike. A sound knowledge of legislation, codes of practice and industry standards in addition to risk management, auditing, workplace inspections and incident investigations. Prior exposure to OHS Management systems and OHSAS 18001 certification will be held with high regard.
