This large multi-disciplined contractor has built a leading reputation throughout Australia. Their scope of works covers the mining, marine, building and civil industries and they employ over 1000 staff.  
 
The project 
Based out of Newcastle this large open cut mine contractor employs 400 staff and operates with a wide variety of CAT machinery. 
 
The position  
As an auto electrician you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspections on contact and customer machines. A good understanding of fault finding and diagnostics will be essential your success along with the ability to work in a safe and conscious manner.  
 
Your background 
·         Auto electrical trade certificate 
·         Ability to diagnose faults with mining machinery (CAT experience advantageous)
·         Excellent knowledge of electrical systems and good technical knowledge 
·         Strong written and verbal communication 
·         A safe working attitude 
 
The opportunity 
Work for a leading mining contractor with the latest CAT machinery on the market. Enjoy the luxury of working on a contract with the opportunity to prove yourself and go permanent. Your shift pattern will involve 12 hour days, 5 days on, 5 days off rotating. A market leading hourly rates will be on offer.
