Empire Executive is a boutique recruitment consultancy specialising in Mining industry recruitment. Our close working relationship with a very driven mining company has unearthed this strategic position in their exploration team.
 
This role will involve:
·         Setting up camps
·         Establishing tracks into new areas
·         Drill site rehabilitation
·         Land owner/community liaison
·         Getting to know the area, handling logistics for the exploration team
·         Supervising contract personnel
·         Mentoring and training field staff
·         HSE auditing and reporting

The opportunity to work within a strong willed and determined exploration team who are known for delivering results. This position is a Senior role within this organisation and has the autonomy plus the authority you would expect of a Management position.
 
A very competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Relocation and temporary housing will be offered to secure the right person.
 
The ideal candidate:
·         Has had enough of the transient nature of the mining industry and is seeking a Family Friendly roster.
·         Qualifications in HSE and Senior First Aid Certificate will be viewed favourably. Someone with at least 5 years experience with a team management focus.
 
An excellent team player with a commitment to safety will fit in well with this progressive exploration team. Proven experience encouraging and implementing safe work practices will be highly regarded.
