Mining Engineer

Our client is an international company mining a strong, stable commodity.  They are looking for a Mining Engineer to join their Technical Services Team and work across the design of some of the underground operations most important aspects.
 
Day to day you will be involved in:
·         Design work for a range of areas including drill and blast, development and stopes
·         Reporting on EOM  and stope reconcilliation
·         Liaising and mentoring the graduate team members
·         Ensuring safe work practices are followed and maintained
 
To be successful in this role you will ideally have: 
·         Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering 
·         Experience in underground hard rock mining environment 
·         Sound working knowledge of mining software packages 
·         The ability to work as part of a team of mining professionals 
 
On offer for the successful candidate is a competitive remuneration package including relocation assistance. This role is truly unique in that you will be based at site working a Monday to Friday roster, home every night, but still only a short drive from a range of recreational activites, such as hiking and all that a major city has to offer.
