[Mine] is a mining operation owned by [Employer] and operated by[Employer] , and is located in Central Queensland. [Mine] is an open-cut mine currently producing 3.5 million tonnes per annum of PCI and Thermal coal.

We are seeking an experienced OH & S Advisor to provide Occupational Health & Safety advice and services, whilst supporting and maintaing site systems, programmes, policies, procedures & processes to ensure a safe work environment. The OH&S Advisor will provide technical advice on matters relating to industrial hygiene and safety. They will also enusre safety programs comply with government regulations, standard and policies as well as site safety objectives. The successful applicant will be required to Audit OH & S procedures & processes for employees and contractos.
 
To be considered for this role you will posses a degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety, 5 years experience within the mining or industrial sectors, exstensive safety advisory experience, strong written & verbal communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
