Mining Engineer (Dragline Engineer)

Established mining company is looking for an experienced Mining Engineer with experience in a Dragline Engineer role.
 
You will be a vital member of the technical services team and will be offered an excellent remuneration package, including relocation allowances, company housing on a short drive to the beautiful Yeppoon coastline, highly competitive salary and super contributions, as well as exceptional career development opportunities into more senior and supervisory roles within the company.
 
You will be reporting directly to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer and will be responsible for the planning, coordination and improvement of mining plans and resource utilisation, including:
·         Weekly / monthly dragline reports
·         Design of dragline plans for optimising dragline efficiency
·         Medium term dragline designs (18 months), including design lines, sections, prestrip horizon & volumes/reserves (including prestrip volume)
·         Continuous improvement of dragline designs/operations
 
Ideally, you will possess
·         Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
·         Experience with mine design software
·         Prior dragline experience on dragline operations
 
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $105k - $120k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional candidates
