Are you sharp with the details and very process driven?  Do you enjoy gathering information and assembling it into a useable form to produce useful, easy to read technical information?  Located just 30 minutes from Newcastle, this long term contract position is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading manufacturer of Underground Mining Equipment and secure your future in the mining sector.
 
As the expert Technical Writer you will create end-user product support documentation for a range of diesel and underground equipment.  You will be responsible for assisting the technical publishing co-ordination in preparing and maintaining specified technical publications. These will include product specification sheets, installation and operation instructions and manuals and wiring diagrams.
 
To be a star in this role you will need the following skills:
·         Organise material and complete publications to a set standard, clarity and style
·         Proven ability to describe features and benefits from product drawings and specifications
·         Publication layout
·         Select appropriate drawings and photos to effectively illustrate material
·         Arranging production and distribution of material
