Join this dynamic, fast growing company and make your mark in Queensland's mining industry by working on an exciting underground coal project in Central Queensland as a Longwall Maintenance Co-ordinator on a permanent basis.
 
The Maintenance Co-ordinator for the Longwall will primarily be responsible for the maintenance strategy and will put in place measures to optimise the efficiency of the equipment for the life of the mine. Commitment to Health and Safety will also be a key requirement for the role.
 
Essential skills:
·         Either a strong Mechanical trade or Mechanical engineering background with at least two years of supervisory experience
·         Longwall experience
·         Coal mining experience
·         Strong computer literacy
·         Excellent people management and communication skills
·         Demonstrated focus on maintaining safety in the workplace
 
This is a Monday - Friday residential role based in a thriving community in Central Queensland in an ideal location near the Whitsunday coast. Unlike others this established township offers the kind of sports, education and recreation facilities usually associated with larger towns and cities.
