Empire Executive is a boutique recruitment consultancy, specialising in Strategic and Senior level positions. Due to our long standing relationship with one of Queesland's mining industry icons, we are now searching for a suitably experienced Senior Geologist.
 
As the Senior Geologist for the group, you will oversee exploration activities and contribute to the strategic, forward thinking of the organisation.
 
Being a sustainability focussed organisation, their goal is to encourage and develop their people to progress and continually push the boundaries. As such, the Senior Geologist will be groomed and encouraged to act in a Management capacity in the Absence of the Exploration Manager.
 
Working in one of Australia's premier geological environments, you will have the job satisfaction, career stability and progression opportunities that are not readily available elsewhere.
 
Ideally the candidate we seek will have:
·         Post Graduate qualifications in Geoscience/Geology
·         10+ years experience
·         Familiarity with the geology of the region
·         A structural geology focus
·         Proven leadership ability/prior experience in a role as Senior Geologist
·         The ability to think outside of the box and collate data to identify targets
