About our Client
Our client is [Location] engineering consultancy with an extensive history in the mining industry. Their size and functionality dictates that you will receive broad exposure to all project phases, from conceptual engineering studies and design, through to construction and project management and delivery.
 
Job Description
With a focus on autonomy this position looks to mould and develop engineers into Project Managers capable of leading major projects. Initially reporting to the General Manager of Projects you will be required to:
·         Oversee and review technical drawings.
·         Coordinate and manage your project team and contractors.
·         Select and procure materials handling equipment.
·         Carry out budgeting and scheduling in accordance with client requirements.
·         Liaise with clients on technical aspects and project progress.
 
The Successful Applicant
To meet the challenges of this role you will hold tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering and will have several years of experience in an EPCM environment servicing projects within the mining sector or similar heavy industry. In addition you will possess confident interpersonal and communication skills whilst demonstrating a hunger to progress professionally.
