They have an immediate requirement for a Senior Mining Engineer seeking a fantastic lifestyle change, who wishes to further their career with a leading mining company whilst being paid as if you were working up north.

Your duties will include the following:
·         Managing, mentoring and developing the technical services team at the operation 
·         Ensure the sites planning, scheduling and production objectives are met 
·         Encourage a safe workplace environment by promoting the companies safety standards 
·         Provide technical assistance and advice to the Mine Manager and other senior personnel 
·         Lead and develop the sites technology plan to improve methods and practices
 
To be considered for this opportunity, it is pertinent that applicants can demonstrate the following:
·         Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or related discipline 
·         A demonstrated background within the technical services team at a senior level 
·         A team player with well developed interpersonal and communication skills 
·         A strong commitment to high HS&E workplace standards
