Senior Civil / Tailings Engineer

The [Employer] work on a range of technically challenging projects focussed on design, analysis, laboratory testing and construction services relating to Mine Waste (Tailings) Management, Evaporation Ponds, Landfills and Heap Leach Facilities.
 
Due to expansion, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team.
 
You will be working closely with our local Geotechnical, Environmental, Hydrology/Hydrogeology and Construction Management disciplines so this is a great opportunity to develop your skills across a range of civil engineering fields.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
·         Provide engineering services with respect to mine waste management and project management.
·         Work with other professionals in project teams.
·         Carry out analytical and design functions for projects at stages ranging from Scoping to Detailed Engineering and Implementation.
·         Manage projects according to client-approved scopes of work.
·         Prepare and deliver high quality reports on time and within budget.
 
The idea candidate will have:
·         A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
·         Several years experience with exposure to mining and/or industrial waste management.  Consulting experience will be well regarded.
·         Strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills.
·         Proven capabilities, working efficiently in project teams.
 
This dynamic role offers opportunities to travel throughout Australia and overseas.
