We are one of Australia’s leading underground mining and tunnelling contractors and work across the underground metalliferous, coal and civil sectors. In addition to the challenges of project development and the ongoing need to devise innovative solutions across a range of disciplines, [Employer] offers employees excellent conditions of employment and diversity of work. Development opportunities within the organisation are significant and varied.

[Employer] Limited is seeking candidates for the positions of:
·         Electrical Supervisor (rotational roster: 9 days on 5 days off)
·         Electricians (rotational roster 7 days on 7 days off)

These positions can be either Emerald based or FIFO from[Location] .

The successful applicants must possess the following:
·         Current QLD Electrical License
·         Current QLD Licence
·         Strong leadership skills
·         Good communication skills, both verbally and written
·         The ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised
·         Experience with Microsoft packages
·         Minimum of 5 years experience within a mining/tunnel/coal environment

The following would be beneficial:
·         Current Generic Inductions Surface and Underground (Coal)
·         Current Coal Board Medical
·         CPR and Low Voltage Rescue
·         EEHA hazardous Area Training
·         High Voltage Switching Ticket
