[Employer] is a specialist in underground excavation and construction. We are one of Australia’s leading underground mining and tunnelling contractors and work across the underground metalliferous, coal and civil sectors. In addition to the challenges of project development and the ongoing need to devise innovative solutions across a range of disciplines, [Employer] offers employees excellent conditions of employment and diversity of work. Development opportunities within the organisation are significant and varied.
 
[Employer] is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Site Administration Clerk. This position is located on a mine site in North West Queensland. It will be based on an 8 days on 6 days off roster fly in and out from [Location] only.
 
The key responsibilities will be:
·         Maintain payroll data.
·         Filing and storing all documents
·         Data entry
·         Co-ordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence.
·         Process purchase orders, delivery dockets and invoices.
·         Reception duties, i.e. telephone, word processing, spreadsheets etc.
·         Purchasing of office supplies and other minor consumables.
·         Any other administration duties as directed by the Project Manager.
 
The successful applicant must possess the following:
·         Previous administration/accounts experience
·         Current QLD Licence
·         Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
·         Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft office package and Lotus Notes
·         Ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised
·         Minimum of 3 years experience within a mining environment
·         Previous fly in/fly out experience
·         Have a strong belief in promoting and performing in accordance with our safety vision of SAFETY - FIRST, LAST AND ALWAYS.

·         Current Generic Inductions Surface and Underground (Metalliferous)
