Mining Superintendent

Our client is an emerging contractor who is dedicated to growing their business and making their mark.  They are serious about their reputation as a quality provider of mining services and are looking for a Mining Superintendent who is as equally serious about their career.
 
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Mining Superintendent will manage all production related processes of their crew to ensure that production targets are achieved, whilst meeting the safety, quality and cost objectives.
 
Your duties:
·         Overseeing day to day pit operations whilst implementing mine plans and schedules
·         Monitoring performance to ensure production targets achieved
·         Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth interface between areas
·         Mentoring and developing production crews
·         Ensure adherence and compliance to Health & Safety standards and systems
 
Your background:
·         Experience at a similar level, preferably in hard rock mining
·         Experience working for a mining contractor
·         Strong communication and leadership skills
·         Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
