Senior Process Engineer Non-Ferrous

This exclusive engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Process Engineer with experience on large minerals processing projects.

This is the opportunity for a Concentrator and or a Hydrometallurgy experienced Process Engineer to gain a position within an engineering consultancy that has landmark projects located throughout the world.

This role is considered very critical to the success of the project and the engineer will have to demonstrate a considerable knowledge and background in the field of Non Ferrous or Base Metals.
 
As part of these landmark projects you will be involved from the inception of the project through to the commissioning stage. There is also a strong feasibility focus to the role.
 
Previous experience within the following processing facilities are desired:

• Concentrator facility
• Hydro met and Extraction facilities
• Smelting facility
• Refinery

You must be experienced in and be able to:

• Provide process engineering input to drafting department
• Carry out engineering check of drafting deliverables
• Prepare/update/revise process engineering deliverables
• Undertake engineering review for instrument engineering deliverables
• Prepare/Provide process data for control valves, field instruments to instrument engineering group

A successful candidate must have a wealth of experience on Australian apparatus and be familiar with all Australian standards involved with heavy industrial minerals processing procedures.
 
To be considered for these positions you will possess:

• Degree qualification in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
• 10+ years design/engineering and operational experience in minerals processing
• Concentrator and or Hydrometallurgy experience is essential
• Process modeling experience
• 5+ years Australian experience
