Due to an internal move they are looking for an experienced Open Cut Examiner / Supervisor to be based on their site in Central Queensland.

As the Open Cut Examiner you role will include:

Monitoring, inspecting and reporting across mining operations to ensure all activities and conditions are safe, compliant with relevant legislation and the Mines SHEC requirements
Provide technical knowledge for correct drilling and blasting procedures
Assisting with accident and incident investigations (including risk assessments)
Identify areas of improvements to ensure efficiency
Supervision of production crews

To be considered for the role of Open Cut Examiner you will require

Queensland OCE Statutory Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in an open cut mining environment
Candidates must hold a current QLD Coal Board Medical, Generic Coal Surface Induction, S1/2/3
Safety focused with strong communication skills
Extensive knowledge of Queensland coal legislative requirements
