TRS are currently seeking a  Senior Environmental Manager to join a Mining Company based in Bunbury, Western Australia.  

This is a great opportunity to work on a residential basis in a coastal city just 2 hours from Perth and on the doorstep of the Margaret River wine region.  Bunbury has excellent local amenities, schools and fantastic beaches.  

This position is responsible for leading all environmental aspects of the companies mining activities.  The role will interface with both internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies and community groups in regard to all safety and environmental issues.  

Managing and driving the approvals process for expansion and future mine sites is key to this role 

To be considered for the role you will have the following:

  • Degree Qualified 
  • Experience in the mines approval process at a leadership level
  • Have the ability to negotiate and influence key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Experience in health and safety / OHS 
  • Possess the ability to influence, lead and promote a positive safety culture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a multicultural environment.
