A Senior Construction Manager is currently sought by an Engineering Consultancy in Perth recognized as one of the leading winners of EPCM contracts. They can forecast long term opportunities across the division and have a very attractive opening for a proven Senior Construction Manager to become an integral member of the Senior Management Team.
If you can bring a track record of delivering large scale Mine projects to fruition managing all build ability and Constructability issues, make sound judgment calls on matters concerning site construction aspects of the project, including safety, environmental, progress, cost management and quality conformance. You will be given responsibility for commissioning of the works in accordance with the project schedule.
As a proven Construction Manager looking for more responsibility or a Senior Manager who has been responsible for the successful performance of all construction subcontractors executing the works and for the oversight of constructability and safety reviews of the designs during design development; you will be offered the employment terms and conditions, authority, environment and support that to compel you to join this very successful organization.

We are particularly interested in talking to candidates who can demonstrate previous performance in the following type areas:-
Manages the site to ensure and verify that all construction work conforms to the project engineering and quality system requirements.
Coordinates the overall work effort to maintain the schedule and budget within agreed parameters, including progress reporting.
Coordinates visitors and public relations matters on site.
Manages emergency response and crisis management on site.
Responsible for the operation and control of the construction camp and site traffic systems.
Responsible for the effective management of OHS and security.
Candidates will be qualified under the following criteria:
Engineering degree or equivalent experience qualifying you as a Construction professional
Ten years related experience in construction management of large resources projects.
Registered as a Manager under the Mines Regulation Act or eligible for registration.
Some commercial qualifications/experience desirable.
Management and leadership experiences, including direct line supervision.
Experience in working in QA environment.
Understanding of Safety, Employee Relations and general management concepts.
