Techincal Works Manager

The Western Australian Electrical Power Network is continually being expanded and upgraded to ensure efficient power supply. As such one of Australia‘s leading utilities companies has an immediately available position for a Technical Works Manager.

As an experienced Technical Works Manager within the distribution network your role will be to implement the efficient and safe delivery of works programs agreed by the Strategic Asset Management team. It will be your responsibility to ensure that Technical Asset Managers are located in regional centres to accurately assess and report on distribution asset conditions across the south west. An enhanced understanding of asset performance will enable more comprehensive planning, resulting in meeting target dates and budgets.

To effectively perform this role it is paramount that you are a strategic thinker with strong business acumen coupled with sound analytical skills and exposure to risk management and governance processes. You will also have formal tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or extensive industry experience.
