Financial Controller

Based in the Northern suburbs this Mining Services company have ambitious growth plans for the next 5 years and are investing in a new ERP system. With over 15 years experience providing equipment to major clients and with increasing revenues they are exploring a variety of options centred around the business, including a potential listing.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be reporting to the CFO and be directly responsible for the performance of the Finance team. Working with external consultants you will be tasked with exploring Commercial ventures and implementing the new accounting system. You will be tasked with pursuing efficiency and ensuring that the team are trained in order to maintain the highest standards. This will be combined with an overview of all financial and management reporting including the monthly P&L, forecasting, budgeting and tax compliance.

Key Requirements:
CPA/CA qualified with a minimum of 8 years accounting experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills coupled with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Analytical and outstanding problem solving skills in order to deliver innovative solutions are required. You will have managed a team and have experience of overseeing a new system implementation.
