This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the ramp up of an incredible world class client. Our client is working across multiple large mining projects and is offering multiple roles to expand and further strengthen their core design team. The role requires broad relevant experience with 2D or 3D drawings from a structural background.
As an ideal candidate you will have a demonstrable track record in performing the following duties and responsibilities:
Prepare detailed designs drawings for engineering projects and ensure project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.
Proven knowledge of capabilities of the various CAD systems
Contribute to structural design reviews
Ensure structural design drawings for engineering projects are completed on time and within budget
The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive experience on large mining projects.
As an ideal candidate you will possess:
7 yearsÂ’ experience with minimum two years in mining/materials handling.
Preferable experience working within an EPCM environment
Designer/Drafting qualification/diploma, CAD certification or skills, Microstation.
The use of Discipline Specific software such as Intergraph SmartPlant may be required
