My client is a supplier of flow control solutions for the most demanding mining environments. They focus on abrasive, corrosive and other demanding shut-off, control and pumping applications, serving a wide range of process industries worldwide.  They are a global company and are well known in the manufacturing of heavy duty valves, pump sets.

Currently they have a ‘grass roots’ opportunity for a well networked and respected industry sales professional to join their team and further establish brand throughout the Western region.

Reporting to the Managing Director and working initially from a home office the main focus on this role is to develop new business and establish branding in the western regions through the mining and minerals sector by calling on the engineering houses as well as major mine sites.  You will be responsible for managing the existing relationships and ensuring the market growth of the business.  You will have back up support at head office level however will enjoy the autonomy this role offers.  

This truly is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a growing business unit and work autonomously taking ownership of your own region.  It is crucial that you have minimum 10 years mining supply sales experience, ideally in valves or pump sets.  You will be well established along St Georges Terrace with all the major engineering houses as well as within the big mining players.  A degree in process or mechanical engineering complimented with further studies in business would be highly regarded.
