Estimating Manager

ne of our growing EPCM clients is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Estimating Manager to work on a large camps infrastructure project worth $multi-billion in WA. Our client is looking for someone who has come from a civil or earthworks background with a degree in civil engineering, construction or a closely aligned field to work on a number of large high value project and associated infrastructure located in WA. You will be working with the management team to provide precise forecasting and overseeing accuracy of reports for project tenders. 


Duties will include (but will not be limited to):
 
Provide input into improving policies and systems for the estimating of tenders and proposals
Participate in contract negotiations as an adviser on contract and cost options
Analyse, review and make recommendations on contractors’ and sub-consultancies’ submissions
Prepare post-submission responses to client for the clarification of matters
Preparation of Estimates from inception
Review draft construction contracts for adequacy of cost and schedule requirements

As an ideal candidate you will have:
 
10+ years experience in Estimation for large civil works projects
Experience in preparation of lump sum cost estimates for civil works
History of mentoring and training others
Strong personal organisational skills
