Reporting to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer, this position will play a crucial role in ensuring that the production and planning schedules are maintained at the highest level.

The key accountability of this role is:

• Production Planning & Scheduling.  
• Increase the reliability of the Plant and minimize downtime.
• Adhering to and monitoring of QA practices – ISO9001.
• Procurement of goods and services.
• Management of inventory.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Minimum three years experience in similar role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering.
• Excellent skills in mine planning software i.e. Vulcan, XPAC, 3dDig.
• Experience in forecasting, demand planning, scheduling, and economic order quantities.
• Ability to generate KPI reports.
• Substantial mine production, preventative and reactive maintenance experience.
