As a HSE advisor you will play a key role in the successful implementation of a robust HSE management plan across various projects. You will be given the opportunity to become involved at the start of a Greenfields $9bn project.
The key drivers for this role will be to supervise and assist the superintendent in delivering the safety function across a host of diverse and complex civil works throughout the Pilbara.

Reporting directly to the HSE Manager & functionally to the site manager you will play an integral role in the implementation and supervision of HSE management plan in its entirety.
The ideal candidate will be required to demonstrate leadership and commitment in maintaining interface with the client and contractors to ensure a positive safety culture is embraced.
Proactive and safety conscious at all times you must be able to carry out the following;
- Assist in Investigations/hazard analysis
- Ensure compliance to client site HSE procedures and requirements
- Work in accordance with site safety guidelines and procedures
- Participate in Behavioural Observation Program
- JHA and Take 5 Auditing for Quality, task specific and compliance
- Assist in ensuring that relevant contractors and personnel adhere to the HSE Procedures
- Assist in identifying HSE training (and awareness) needs for the project
- Actively participate in and support Zero Incident and Injury culture
- Pre-empt problems to the HSE performance and recommend strategies to overcome delay
- Actively participate in and support Incident and Injury Free culture

- 3-5 years minimum experience in similar position with civil or marine construction background is a must

- Experience assisting in ensuring that relevant contractors and personnel adhere to the HSE Procedures
