With multiple operating mine sites in Western Australia as well as many more scattered across the globe, our client is truly a global leader in their field. They are currently seeking a Senior Underground Geologist to play a key role at one of their significant underground mining projects in WA.

Within this key senior role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Providing geological advice to the mine technical team
· Optimising the production grades to ensure budget recovery is met in the mill
· Daily grade control production
· Geological mapping and interpretation
· A high level of interaction/mentoring with geologists, supervisors, engineering department
· Achieving a high level of safety and environmental standards
To be successful it is ideal that applicants will have:
· A tertiary qualification in geology, earth science or a related discipline
· 3+ years underground mining experience
· 3-5 years industry experience in mine geology roles preferably with exposure to Surpac/Vulcan or other mining software
· Current membership or eligibility for AIG
· Excellent communicational, motivation and mentoring skills
