Our client, a major global mining giant with a large range of diverse operations across the country and overseas are actively seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to carry out a major project on site at this world-class and well established Western Australian operation.

Within this role you will be required to ensure the project is carried out in a safe and efficient manner in line with project objectives. The incumbent will provide technical and engineering services coupled with project management to the team.
To be successful in this position you must have a demonstrated background in previous senior electrical engineering roles, set within a mining environment coupled with strong leadership and communication skills.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
· Management and leadership of site engineering personnel and consultants
· Prepare scope of works for site projects and manage costs
· Work with contractors on site and ensure equipment meets required standards
· Ensure statutory requirements are met
The key to your success in this role will be your strong technical and communication skills coupled with a solid background in similar roles and mining/ heavy industrial environments. The successful candidate will possess skills across electrical engineering and will ideally have experience with shaft and winder projects for underground mining operations coupled with proven project management experience.
