Administration Officer

Due to an internal promotion, our client, a supplier of steel products to WA's booming mining industry, is currently seeking an Office Administrator.
The successful applicant will be a team player, carry out local purchasing in conjunction with the Purchasing Department, process document updates, monitor inventory management and provide general office support.
Your duties will include;
· Accounts payable and receivable
· Petty cash management
· Process and maintain payroll and journal accruals
· Assist Purchasing Officer in the day to day purchase of materials and services
· Process and monitor local purchasing
· Liaising with suppliers regarding product requirements
· Processing receipting of goods and services through WA operation
To be successful you will require;
· Previous experience in accounts payable and receivable preferably in a manufacturing environment
· Purchasing experience would be a definite advantage
· A proactive approach and ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Strong communication skills
· High level organisational skills
· Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
· Experience in ""Navision"" or similar software such as SAP is preferred
· Excellent customer service skills and a good team attitude
