Maintenance Fitter

Our client manufactures and supplies steel products to the mining industry and require a Maintenance Fitter for an immediate start!
Based in their [Location] workshop you will be required to maintain plant equipment and tooling including;
· fitting and machining to maintain a variety of plant equipment including presses, roll formers and welders
· machining lathes, surface grinders and mills for reliable production
· reading and interpreting technical drawings o manufacture and modify existing tooling
· reporting on condition of plant equipment
· advising team leaders of work to be done eg fitting/turning/hydraulic/electrical repairs
To be successful you will require the following;
· Relevant Trade Qualification
· Machining skills for lathes and mills (non NC)
· Good communication and literacy
· Good interpretive and constructive skills
· Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
· Ability to work as part of a team
