Our client is a major player at the forefront of mining industry within Queensland and therefore has the resources and career progression capabilities to really develop your skills and accelerate your career.
They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their project team within the engineering department. In this role you will be a team player and work with others to ensure the management and execution of a diverse range of significant projects across the operation. The successful candidate will be involved in from conceptual stage through to project hand over.

In this role, your responsibilities will involve working with the team to:
· Deliver projects from conceptual/ feasibility stage through construction, commissioning and then handover
· Work on a range of capital and other projects across the site
· Liaise with other members of the maintenance and operations teams to achieve project results
· Maintain a high level of safety and environmental standards
To be successful you will ideally have:
· A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
· Minimum three years experience in mining or mineral processing environments
· The ability to work autonomuously or in a team
· A real drive to progress your career in a top-class mining operation
