The mine is remote but only 5 minute drive to the small local sapphire township with post office, hardware store, medical centre and general store, restaurant, and shops selling sapphires, jewellery and related items.
This is a working sapphire producing mine; with large machinery that one or two persons can work.
Sapphires down to bedrock, some areas easy shallow digging at one foot on the back corner of lease near the river, otherwise bedrock is about 12 – 18 foot and you can tunnel or open cut. Equipment includes one small machine for one person to work comfortably as well as larger mining machinery.
